As an important agricultural country in East Africa, Tanzania’s demand for grain processing equipment has been growing in recent years. In order to improve the production efficiency and product quality of the enterprise, Mr Mohammed, the head of a leading grain processing enterprise in Tanzania, came to China in January 2025 to make a site visit to our company.
The focus of Mr Mohamed’s visit was on complete maize milling equipment and grain cleaning equipment. The main food crop in Tanzania is maize, but due to the lack of advanced processing equipment and technology, the local maize processing efficiency is low and cannot meet the market demand. He hoped to introduce a set of highly efficient, energy-saving and adapted to local climatic conditions equipment to enhance the production capacity and market competitiveness of the enterprise.
During the visit, Mr Mohammed showed great interest in our production equipment and technology. He paid special attention to the automation degree, ease of operation and maintenance cost of the equipment. Our technical team introduced in detail the advanced technology of the equipment, such as efficient cleaning system, intelligent screening technology, and customised production line configuration. In addition, in view of the unstable power supply in Tanzania, our company provides energy-saving equipment solutions to ensure the stable operation of the equipment even under low-power environment.
Mr Mohammed witnessed the operation of the equipment during his visit to the production plant. He was impressed by the efficient performance and stability of the equipment, especially its excellent performance in handling high humidity corn, which gave him confidence in its adaptability. After the inspection, he decided to purchase a set of complete maize milling equipment with a daily processing capacity of 50 tonnes.
At present, the equipment has been successfully delivered and put into use. Mr Mohammed feedbacks: ‘The equipment runs stably, the capacity is beyond expectation, the operation is easy and the maintenance cost is low. Your after-sales service is also very timely, which solves our worries.’ He also said that he will continue to cooperate with our company in the future to further improve the mechanisation level of the enterprise.
This cooperation not only provides Tanzanian customers with advanced grain processing equipment, but also further consolidates our company’s position in the African market and contributes to China-Tanzania agricultural cooperation.
